This Valentine's Day, here at Trulymink I'd like us all to focus on self love. Whether single or taken, I believe having love for yourself is important as we progress to where we envision ourselves. Lucky for us, self love is a big part of society today and so, there are an endless amount of ways you can go about seeking it. Personally, I think self love has been confused with selfishness one too many times. Of course it is okay to say no and do what is best for you however, I advise that we all focus on becoming someone who is not a burden onto others or lives for oneself. I'm currently reading 'good vibes good life' a book written by Vex King and one that I would strongly recommend if you're still on your journey to self love as I am. Valentine's day is not only about seasonal twitter couples or fake petals scattered onto bed sheets on Snapchat, It's also a time you can use to reflect on yourself. If you're feeling any insecurity during Valentine's Day when others receive gifts and material things, this is only an indication to improve how you love yourself and remember that God loves you most. For the heartbroken and those who are still healing, It's not the end. I wish you all the best as you rebuild yourself. Don't forget to show love to your friends and family and try to spread as much love as possible this Valentine's Day.
Love,
Rachel, CEO
